HELLO!

I'm Zoe Botes, and I'm a freelance illustrator and motion designer from Milwaukee, WI. I studied illustration, communication design and animation at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. I have worked with clients, illustrating children’s books, branding for businesses and creating animated shorts; and I’m always looking to try something new! My work explores an intersection between illustration and design, identified by its vibrancy, style and playful nature. I am often inspired by my upbringing, surroundings, friends, family and current interests of mine. I recently completed a period abroad in Milan, Italy and my recent work has reflected much of my incredible time spent there!
